Hours, Booking, and Policies

Please carefully read all the information below.

Book Online through Vagaro

I do not book over the phone at this time.

If you have a question about booking, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as I can.

Please note: my schedule is usually booked out at least a few weeks in advance, so it is important to plan ahead and book your appointment early. Last minute openings are rarely available. You can add yourself to a waitlist through Vagaro. 

LOCATION and PARKING INFORMATION 

STUDIO 138 is located at 3013 Montebello Terrace. Baltimore 21214. Suite 2R is straight up the stairs on the 2nd floor. 

The front door is usually open during business hours. If we are still with another client, please wait quietly in the hall.

If the door is closed or you prefer to wait outside, you can text to let us know you arrived. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early, especially if it is your first visit. 

There are two single-occupancy bathrooms available in the 2nd floor hallway right outside STUDIO 138. Please be considerate of others who share these spaces.

PARKING

Clients arriving for a massage appointment may park in one of the spots directly in front of the building. 

If you are arriving for a class, please park on the street or in the Safeway lot.

PAYMENT 

Payment in full is expected at time of service. Classes require prepayment

Cash is preferred. Credit card payments accepted through Vagaro. I also accept Zelle and Venmo (@studio-138).

Tips are appreciated but never expected. 

 SLIDING SCALE DISCOUNT and PAY IT FORWARD

Take advantage of a 20% sliding scale discount by booking a session under the "sliding scale" category. Alternatively, I can add the discount at checkout.

No proof of hardship required and I will not treat you any differently. All I ask is that you not take advantage of this offer. If you have questions about using the discount code or whether you should consider paying this rate, please reach out at any time.

There is also now an option to pay it forward during booking. This will add $10 or $20 to your appointment, which helps me offer massages at lower prices for those who need it. There is no expectation to do this but if you find yourself in a position where you are able to pay a little bit more you may consider it from time to time.

CANCELLATION and LATE ARRIVAL POLICIES

Please be considerate when canceling or rescheduling an appointment.

Changes made within 2-24 hours of your appointment will be charged 50%.

Changes within 2 hours of your appointment will be charged 100% of the total fee.

No-shows will be charged 100% of the total fee.

If you are going to be late, we may be able to go over a few minutes to give you as much time for your appointment, however this is not a guarantee. Your appointment may have to be shortened to accommodate my next appointment, with payment for the full appointment required.

If you are more than 20 minutes late your appointment will be cancelled and you will be charged 100% of the total fee.

If bad weather is expected, I will reach out to you as soon as possible.

Class Cancellation Policies

No shows/late cancels will be charged for class.

Cancel up to 24 hours before class start for a full refund.
* classes will begin on time. Late arrivals cannot be guaranteed accommodations. Text your instructor and please respect others in class.

STUDIO 138 is a professional massage business. Lewd or suggestive actions and comments will result in immediate termination of service with payment in full expected.

 When you elect to come for a massage you agree to the following: I understand that massage can improve mind-body wellbeing, but is not intended to replace or substitute a doctor’s care and diagnosis when indicated. Information exchanged during the massage is intended to be educational and promote self-awareness of the mind and body, and is to be used at my own discretion. I agree to inform my massage therapist of any health status changes, and to communicate during the session if I become uncomfortable or change my mind about the treatment plan. I understand that this is a professional massage, and that suggestive comments or advances will result in immediate termination of the session with full payment expected.
